These worms, three times larger than red wigglers; hence their castings are three times bigger as well. They are well-suited for composting due to their ability to digest larger materials. In gardening, they enhance soil quality.
Moreover, European Nightcrawlers prove to be superb bait for anglers. They remain on the hook for extended periods and have a longer lifespan compared to other worm species. The added benefit is that these worms do not require refrigeration, making them perfect companions for fishing trips.
